Check out PEMF!
It’s a new wellness modality I’m offering, and it’s pretty cool!
What IS PEMF??
Well, it stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields.
Your body is electrical, which I’m sure you know. Your heart, brain, spinal cord all send electrical impulses constantly. Every electrical current creates a magnetic field. The earth has one, and when we aren’t exposed to it, we can become unhealthy. In fact, it was the discovery that astronauts were becoming sick when removed from the earth’s magnetic field that sparked the creation of PEMF devices.
But let’s bring it back to our bodies.
Did you know that your cells carry a charge? Healthy cell membranes move from positive to negative charge along their membranes. Unfortunately, being inside houses and buildings, surrounded by concrete, standing on rubber soles keeps us from being in touch with earth’s magnetic fields. As result, our cells’ charges can be affected.
PEMF mimics the earth’s magnetic field resonance, penetrating the body up to 16 inches. It affects the cells by enabling them to move from positive to negative charge, which causes them to take in more oxygen. They make more energy (ATP), and they get rid of the things they don’t need.
PEMF increases circulation, oxygenation of the blood, improves energy, reduces inflammation, and helps your body do what it’s supposed to do (you know, filter stuff, heal stuff, regulate stuff, etc.).
PEMF doesn’t heal or treat anything. Nope. It just gives your cells (which run the show) more energy to do what they do.
I slept incredibly well the night after both treatments, better than I have slept in years. I also had reduced hip pain for several days after each treatment.
So far after the sessions, it is more of an ache instead of a lot of pain. Movement of the wrist joint has not changed much, but that’s a work in progress. After only a few visits, and being in less pain, I would recommend they [family and friends] try this.
